About Emily Rorabaugh, AANP
Emily is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (AANP). She completed her undergraduate BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from Illinois State University. She worked as an RN in critical care for 8 years before going back to school to get her MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) from Georgetown University. She has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner for about 10 years in southern California with all age groups, and recently moved back to the northern Virginia area. She enjoys patient education and preventative medicine.
Emily was transplanted from her home in the Midwest of Chicago, Illinois, due to her husband’s military service with the USMC, and has moved quite a bit; however, she is happy to settle in this area and serve the patients of Washington Internal Medicine. She has three children and two cats. In her free time, which she doesn’t have much of, she loves to bake and shop!
